Another Malayalam film, Hridayapoorvam, is also performing pretty well.
On its second day, it earned ₹2.7 Crore, bringing its total to ₹5.95 Crore. Both films have a strong base in Kerala and are showing good staying power.
‘Coolie’ and ‘War 2’ Nearing the End of Their Run
Rajinikanth’s big-budget film Coolie and Hrithik Roshan’s (NTR) War 2 are entering their third week of release. Both films are nearing the end of their theatrical run.
- Coolie is in the lead with a Day 16 collection of ₹2.19 Crore, taking its total collection to ₹273.69 Crore.
- War 2 is lagging, collecting ₹0.68 Crore on the 16th day, taking its total collection to ₹231.93 Crore. Both the films initially competed fiercely at the box office. However, their box office earnings have declined significantly.
‘Mahavatar Narsimha’ Continues its Unbelievable Run
The animated film “Mahavatar Narsimha” is proving to be a big surprise. Even after 36 days, it is still making money.
On Day 36, it collected ₹1.1 Crore, taking its total to an impressive ₹239.35 Crore. This low-budget film has surprised everyone with its long and successful run. It has become one of the most profitable films of the year.
‘Vash Level 2’ Struggles to Pick Up Pace
The Gujarati horror film “Vash Level 2” is finding it hard to attract crowds.
On its third day, it collected only ₹0.94 Crore. Its total collection is a mere ₹3.09 Crore. With a budget of ₹5 Crore, the film still has some way to go to recover its costs. It needs a big jump over the weekend to make a mark.
