On its second Friday, the collection fell to just ₹0.60 crore. The second weekend was also not very strong, with collections of ₹1.15 crore on Saturday and ₹1.10 crore on Sunday. The Weekday Struggle

What Happens Next?
Looking at the current trend, “The Bengal Files” is unlikely to recover its costs from the theatrical run alone. The film is expected to have a short life in cinemas. The makers will now be looking at revenue from other sources like OTT (Over-The-Top) platforms and satellite rights.
