On Monday, 25 August 2025, the movie earned just ₹2.55 crore as per Industry Insiders. This is a very small number for a big-budget film.

However, the film is doing very well in the overall picture. It is close to reaching the ₹500 crore mark worldwide. It has already earned ₹479 crore globally. This makes ‘Coolie’ the fourth highest-grossing Tamil film ever. This is a big achievement for Rajinikanth and the film’s team.
