Accuracy is the core of BoxOfficeWala. Given the dynamic nature of Box Office reporting (where numbers change hourly), we adhere to a strict verification protocol.
Our Verification Process
- Primary Sourcing: We prioritize official posters from production houses and reputable trade tracking dashboards.
- Cross-Referencing: A number is considered “Verified” only when it is corroborated by at least two independent sources (e.g., exhibitor chains and trade analysts).
- The “Estimate” Label: If data is based on early trends (morning shows), it is clearly labeled as “Estimate” or “Projection” to avoid misleading readers.
Correction Policy We are human, and errors can happen.
- Minor Errors: (e.g., Typos, small number discrepancies) are corrected immediately within the article.
- Major Errors: (e.g., Incorrect Verdict, Wrong Release Date) are corrected with a distinct “UPDATE/CORRECTION” note at the top of the article explaining the change and the time it was made.
