London, September 22, 2025 – The filming of the much-awaited superhero movie, ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’, has been temporarily stopped. The reason is an injury to its lead actor, Tom Holland. Reports say that the popular actor was hurt while shooting a stunt scene.
Tom Holland Injured on ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ Set
According to a news outlet, The Sun, the 29-year-old actor suffered a mild concussion. The incident happened at Leavesden Studios in Watford, UK, last Friday. Holland was immediately taken to the hospital for treatment.
Sources say that the injury was not very serious. Doctors have advised the actor to rest for a few days. This is a safety measure. Holland is expected to return to the sets soon.
The actor himself gave an update on his health. The very next day, on Saturday, he was seen at a charity event in London. It was a “Posh Pub Quiz” event with his fiancée and co-star, Zendaya.
However, sources said that he left the event early because he was not feeling well.
This is not the first time Tom Holland has been injured during his career. He is known for doing many of his own stunts. In the past, while filming ‘Uncharted’, he spoke about being hit by a car 17 times for a scene.
The production team, Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios will now hold a meeting. They will decide how to move forward with the filming schedule. This pause in shooting is not expected to affect the film’s release date. The movie is set to release in theatres on July 31, 2026.
