October 14, 2025: Good news has arrived for all fans of the hit animated series, Invincible. Amazon Prime Video has finally shared the release window for Season 4. The popular superhero show will return in March 2026.
This big announcement was made during the New York Comic-Con (NYCC) 2025 panel on October 10.
The show is based on the popular comic books by Robert Kirkman. The new season is expected to be full of action and drama, just like before. Fans had been waiting anxiously since the intense finale of Season 3, which aired in early 2025.
Invincible Season 4 Teaser Trailer Details
Along with the release window, a new teaser trailer for Invincible Season 4 was dropped. The short clip takes us back to a familiar place: the Burger Mart. This fast-food spot has become a funny tradition in the show’s teasers. Mark Grayson, also known as Invincible, is seen sitting with his girlfriend, Atom Eve.
The teaser has some light-hearted moments. Mark is seen with metal casts on his arms, showing his severe injuries from the Season 3 final fight. He jokes about people saying he “could never win a fight.”
Atom Eve joins in the fun, taking over the simple, ‘chibi-style’ animation duties for the Season 4 logo reveal. The teaser hints that even after all the pain, the show will keep its mix of action and humor.
Invincible Season 4 Major New Villain Revealed
One of the most exciting parts of the announcement was the casting of a major new character. Actor Lee Pace will join the voice cast as the villain Grand Regent Thragg. Thragg is one of the most dangerous and powerful characters in the Invincible comics. He is the leader of the entire Viltrum Empire.

Lee Pace is well-known for his roles in movies like Guardians of the Galaxy and the series Foundation. His casting promises a strong and imposing presence for this new big villain. Thragg’s arrival means Mark Grayson will face his biggest challenge yet.
Expectations for the Invincible New Season
Season 4 is set to be a huge story arc. It is expected to focus heavily on the famous Viltrumite War from the original comic books. This means fans can prepare for massive, galaxy-wide battles. The stakes will be higher than ever before.
The new season will pick up after Mark’s brutal battle in Season 3. Mark is still recovering and learning the true cost of being a hero. He has said he will now kill anyone who threatens his family, a big change for his character.
We can also expect to see the return of other important storylines. The fate of the parasitic Sequids and the secret experiments of the GDA leader, Cecil Stedman, will be explored.
Furthermore, the alliance between Omni-Man (Mark’s father) and Allen the Alien will become more important as they prepare to fight the Viltrum Empire. The show’s creator, Robert Kirkman, has also hinted at an original storyline about Damien Darkblood’s journey into a dimension like Hell, which was not in the comics.
Invincible Season 4 Production and Future
The production team is working hard to give fans a great show. The show is known for its high-quality, bloody animation and deep emotional stories. There is news that each episode of Season 4 might be longer, possibly between 90 to 120 minutes. This is more like a mini-movie than a typical TV episode.
Amazon has already shown great trust in the series. They have already renewed the show for Season 5. This means the story is far from over. Fans can look forward to many more years of Mark Grayson’s journey. With a confirmed release in March 2026 and a powerful new villain like Thragg, the next chapter of Invincible promises to be an epic event.
