Jolly LLB 3 Weekday Challenge
The drop in collection started right after the first Sunday. This is a common trend for many movies.
- Big Monday Drop: On Day 4 (Monday), the collection fell sharply to Rs. 5.5 crore. This drop was bigger than what the earlier films in the Jolly LLB series had seen.
- Tuesday Benefit: Day 5 (Tuesday) saw a temporary rise to Rs. 6.5 crore. This was mostly because of discounted ticket prices offered by many theatres on Tuesday.
- Steady Decline: After Tuesday, the collections continued to fall on Wednesday and Thursday. Now, the second Friday (Day 8) has recorded one of the lowest daily figures for the film.
Looking Ahead
The total collection of Jolly LLB 3 after 8 days is now close to Rs. 76.8 crore.
The film needs to pick up its pace again during this second weekend (Saturday and Sunday). A strong jump in numbers will be important for the film to reach the Rs. 100 crore milestone. The producers are hoping that the combined star power of Akshay and Arshad, and the positive reviews, will help the movie attract a crowd over the next two days. If the film does not show a good jump on Saturday, it will be difficult for it to achieve a blockbuster status.
