Our Methodology
This page explains BoxOfficeWala’s methodology — how we source, verify, and publish box office data.
First of all, at BoxOfficeWala, we try our best to provide you with a platform dedicated to providing authentic, up-to-date, and in-depth analysis of Indian box office collections. At BoxOfficeWala, we go beyond just reporting box office figures. We break down the trends, analyze audience behaviour, and predict the future of films based on accurate data. You can know more about how we started on the BoxOfficeWala About Us Page.
Now,
How do we at Boxofficewala collect any movie collection data?
Primary Sources: So, Box office figures on BoxOfficeWala India are based on current data, which we collect from our trade sources, distributors, Movie Booking Sites, and Industry Insiders. We have multiple sources in Bollywood, Hollywood and Tollywood.
Secondary Sources: Sometimes for small regional movies if we cant get their data directly from trade sources or distributors we collect those data from regional Box Office Trade Analyst. Somtimes we cross check our regional movies data with other News site and Box office Tracking Site like Tracktollywood, Sacnilk, Boxofficeindia, and Bollywoodhungama.
Disclaimer: Every effort we make is to provide you with accurate and timely data, but our figures may differ from official distributor or producer statements. Sometimes because we don’t rely on 1 distributor or 1 source, so even after updating the data, we correct the data from time to time as more data comes. Don’t use this Data for any financial use. Use them for general information only. BoxOfficeWala makes no claims or guarantees regarding the exact accuracy of this data.
