Bigg Boss 19, Kolkata 25 August 2025: The most awaited reality show of India is back. “Bigg Boss 19” had its grand premiere on Sunday, August 24, and it is full of new twists. The new season is all about power.
The theme for this season is “Gharwalon Ki Sarkaar.” This means the housemates will have more control over the game. They will decide on tasks and rules in a special ‘Assembly Room’. Bigg Boss will only step in when needed.

Bigg Boss 19 contestants
Superstar Salman Khan is back as the host. He welcomed 16 new contestants. The show will now be a “digital-first” show. This means it will stream on JioHotstar first, and then it will be shown on Colors TV.
The house itself has a fresh new look. It is designed by Omung Kumar. The theme is “Cabin in the Woods.” The house has a rustic and jungle-like feel. It has lots of wooden designs and animal sculptures. There is a special Assembly Room that looks like a parliament.
