Mumbai, 25 August 2025: The Bigg Boss 19 house is already buzzing with drama. The show, which started on Sunday, 24 August, has wasted no time in throwing a curveball at the contestants.

In a shocking twist on Day 1, Monday, August 25, Bigg Boss announced a surprise elimination. This has left the housemates in a state of shock and has led to the first big fight of the season.

The day started with the usual routines. Contestants were trying to get to know each other. They were figuring out the house dynamics. But the calm was short-lived. Bigg Boss called all the housemates to the ‘Assembly Area’. This new part of the house is central to this season’s ‘Gharwalon Ki Sarkaar’ theme.
Bigg Boss 19 Day 1 Surprise Elimination
Bigg Boss announced that there are 16 contestants, but only 15 beds. This meant that one person had to leave the house on the very first day. The housemates were asked to vote out the contestant they found to be the ‘least impressive’ or ‘unworthy’ of staying.
This task caused immediate chaos. The housemates started arguing, and heated debates began. Many contestants were seen taking names. Nehal Chudasama took Neelam Giri’s name. Others started naming Farhana Bhatt.
Kunickaa Sadanand said that Farhana had an ‘attitude’. Amaal Mallik also agreed, saying Farhana thinks she is better than everyone else.
The voting process led to a major clash. A promo showed Kunickaa Sadanand getting into a heated argument with Mridul Tiwari. Mridul, who won the ‘Janta Ka Faisla’ to enter the house, tried to guide the discussion.

This did not go well with Kunickaa. She told him, “Leader giri mat kar. Naam bata.” This single line has become a talking point among fans.
Once again, a heated argument broke out between Baisal Ali and Konekha Sadanand over cooking. Baisal ordered an omelette, but the kitchen supervisor, Konekh, suggested he make it himself. The fight escalated, and the growing animosity between the housemates came to the fore.
Farhana Bhatt, the first contestant of Bigg Boss 19, also became the first contestant to be eliminated from the show, sources said.
Although the full episode is yet to air, a preview and live stream hint at his departure. Most of the housemates have described him as the “less interesting” contestant. This shocking and sudden departure sets a strong tone for the rest of the season.
