Mumbai, September 5, 2025 – Today is a big day at the Box Office. Two major films from different industries have been released.
One is Tiger Shroff’s action movie, Baaghi 4. The other is Sivakarthikeyan’s highly anticipated film, Madharaasi. Both films are a big deal. The question is, who has done better in advance booking?
Tiger Shroff’s Baaghi 4 Advance Booking Collection
Let’s first talk about Baaghi 4.
This is a Bollywood film. Tiger Shroff is a famous action hero.
The Baaghi series has a decent fanbase. The movie has had a good start with its advance bookings.
Reports say it has collected an estimated ₹5.54 crore on its first day. This is from ticket sales alone. With some blocked seats, the total might reach ₹8.47 crore. The film’s producers also offered a special discount on tickets. This was to get more people to the cinemas. This shows they were focused on a strong opening day.

Sivakarthikeyan’s Madharaasi Advance Booking Collection
Now, let’s look at Madharaasi. This is a Tamil film starring Sivakarthikeyan. He is a huge star in the Tamil film industry. The film is directed by the famous A. R. Murugadoss.
The combination of Sivakarthikeyan and Murugadoss created a lot of buzz. Madharaasi was also released today.
According to reports from Tamil Nadu, its advance booking collection for the first day is around ₹5.35 crore. This is a good number for a Tamil film in its home state.
When we compare these two, the numbers are very close. Baaghi 4 has a slightly higher advance booking collection. But we need to remember something important. Baaghi 4 is a Hindi film. Its collection is from all over India. Madharaasi’s collection is mainly from the state of Tamil Nadu. This makes a big difference.
Sivakarthikeyan’s film has shown great strength in its main market. Its collection is almost as much as a big Bollywood movie’s all-India collection. This is a sign of his growing star power. On the other hand, Baaghi 4 has to perform well in many states to get a good total.
Another thing to note is the budget. Madharaasi is reportedly Sivakarthikeyan’s most expensive film ever. It has a high budget of ₹200 crore same as Baaghi 4. This means both need to collect a lot to be a hit.
