Mumbai, 10 September 2025: Kalyani Priyadarshan’s superhero film, Lokah: Chapter 1 – Chandra, has completed a successful two-week run in cinemas.
Produced by Dulquer Salmaan’s Wayfarer Films, the film has surprised many with its strong performance, especially for a Malayalam film. The film has shown a strong performance since its release on August 28, 2025. It has also been released in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi, which has helped it reach a wider audience.

Lokah: Chapter 1 – Chandra Collection So Far
Lokah: Chapter 1 – Chandra had a good opening on its first day, a Thursday. It collected around ₹2.7 crore.
The film’s collections saw a big jump over its first weekend. It collected ₹4 crore on Friday, ₹7.6 crore on Saturday, and a massive ₹10.1 crore on Sunday.
This brought its first-weekend total to over ₹24 crore, which was a very good start.
The film’s momentum continued into the second week. It maintained good numbers even on weekdays, which is a sign of strong word-of-mouth. It earned ₹7.2 crore on Monday and ₹7.65 crore on Tuesday in its first week.
