The Bengal Files – Reasons for Poor Performance
There are many reasons why “The Bengal Files” has not done well. A major reason is the mixed and negative reviews. The film’s story, which is based on historical events, was called “heavy-handed” and “unsubtle” by some critics. The film’s long runtime of over three hours was also seen as a problem.
