War 2 collection First week
In its first week, “War 2” collected a net total of Rs. 175.75 crore in India. This was a great number. It made it one of the strongest openers of 2025. The film’s collections were very high during the extended Independence Day weekend.
The Telugu version of the film also did very well. This was because of the huge popularity of Jr. NTR in the South.
Coolie collection Second week
However, the second week saw a major drop in earnings. The collections slowed down a lot. On its second Monday, “War 2” earned only about Rs. 2.75 crore. This was a very low number compared to its first week. The total collection for the second week was around Rs. 20-30 crore. This is a very big drop from the first week.

Despite this fall, the film has still performed well overall. After 14 days, the film has crossed Rs. 229 crore net in India. Its worldwide collection is around Rs. 347.5 crore gross. But with a big budget of Rs. 400 crore, the film needs to keep earning money to be a hit.
“War 2” had a direct competition with Superstar Rajinikanth’s “Coolie.” Both films were released on the same day. “Coolie” has been ahead of “War 2” at the box office. This has affected the collections of “War 2.” Even with the big star cast, “War 2” has not been able to beat its rival.
The film has received mixed reviews. Some people liked the action scenes and the acting of Hrithik Roshan and Jr. NTR. But some felt the story was not very strong. The film’s performance has been a little disappointing for many people because of its high budget and big hype.
The upcoming weekend will be very important for the film. It has to earn more money to prove its worth at the box office.
