“Idli Kadai” was released on Wednesday, October 1, to take advantage of the Ayudha Pooja and Dussehra holidays.

It started with a strong Day 1 collection of Rs 11 crore. Day 2 saw a small drop to Rs 9.75 crore. The collection dropped on Day 3 (Friday) to Rs 5.6 crore as the holiday rush ended.

However, the film showed good growth over the weekend. Day 4 (Saturday) brought in around Rs 6.25 crore. Day 5, the first Monday after the holiday weekend, has performed well by earning Rs 6.2 crore. This is a very good hold for a weekday, showing that the audience is connecting with the film’s emotional story.
