This Friday, several new films opened. The competition is high. Here is how they performed on Day 1.

Predator: Badlands (Day 01)
‘Predator: Badlands’ had a very strong start. The movie collected ₹2.2 Crore on its first day. This is a great opening number. It has tied with the second-week film ‘Dies Irae’. Audiences seem excited about this new action movie. The weekend collection on Saturday and Sunday will be very important. If it gets good public reviews, it can grow.
Haq (Day 01)

‘Haq’ also had a good opening. The film earned ₹1.72 Crore on Friday. This is a solid start. The movie will depend on good reviews from the public to grow over the weekend. A ₹1.72 Crore start is very respectable.

The Girlfriend and Jatadhara (Day 01)

Dies Irae (Day 08) – The Hit
‘Dies Irae’ is the star of the week. On its 8th day (second Friday), it collected ₹2.2 Crore. This is an amazing hold. It collected the same amount as the big new release ‘Predator: Badlands’. The drop is very small from last week.
The film was made on a small budget of ₹16 Crore. It has already collected ₹28.65 Crore in India. The worldwide collection is ₹57.78 Crore. This movie is a clear HIT.

Roi Roi Binale (Day 08) – The Super Hit
This film is a big surprise and a blockbuster. On Day 08, ‘Roi Roi Binale’ collected ₹1.1 Crore. The budget was only ₹4 Crore. It has already earned ₹12.58 Crore in India. This is a Super Hit. It is making huge profits for its makers.
The Taj Story (Day 08) – The Disappointment

‘Mass Jathara’ completed its first week today. The collection on Day 7 (Thursday) was only ₹0.49 Crore (49 Lakhs). This is a huge disaster. The budget was ₹90 Crore. The total collection after one week is only ₹14.89 Crore. This movie has lost a lot of money and is a big disaster.
The Old Guards: Still Running Strong
Some movies are running for many weeks. They are still earning money and adding to their big totals.

Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat (Day 18)
This film is in its third week. On Day 18, it collected ₹0.89 Crore (89 Lakhs). This is a very steady collection. The total India collection is ₹72.2 Crore. It has also crossed ₹101 Crore worldwide. This is a successful film.
Thamma (Day 18)
‘Thamma’ is a big-budget movie. Its budget is ₹150 Crore. On Day 18, it earned ₹0.86 Crore (86 Lakhs). The total India collection is ₹127.85 Crore. It is slowing down. It needs more money to be a clean hit in India because of its high budget.
