Border 2 Day 18 Collection: *EE Updates

On its 18th day, Border 2 is experiencing the natural fatigue of a long theatrical run. Comparing this to other big star movies in their third week, the “Sunny Deol” effect is still visible, but the Monday drop is quite sharp.

Usually, movies lose most of their screens by Day 18, but this film is still holding many theaters across North India and major metros. The Monday occupancy shows that the initial “national event” excitement has cooled down, and the film is now settling into a steady weekday rhythm.

Smaller cities and towns are still seeing decent crowds, but urban multiplexes have slowed down. Sunny Deol’s roaring presence and Diljit’s conviction are the main reasons people are still visiting.

Even with new competition, the film stands as a blockbuster. It is now moving toward its final leg before new Friday releases arrive.

Border 2 Today’s Trend Report:

• Morning Drop: -45.77% drop vs yesterday (4.42% avg today vs 8.15% yesterday)

• Afternoon Drop: -74.66% drop vs yesterday (7.00% avg today vs 27.62% yesterday)

• Evening Drop: -77.95% drop vs yesterday (7.92% avg today vs 35.92% yesterday)

• Night Drop Estimate: -55.00% drop vs yesterday (Standard Monday Night factor) ***Note: Evening/Night Occupancy data has been predicted based on Early and Available Data

• Real-time Trajectory: The film is trending slightly below expectations for its 3rd Monday. A drop of over 70% in afternoon occupancy compared to Sunday is steep, even for a blockbuster.

• Real-time Trajectory: It is performing lower than previous weekdays (2nd Monday), indicating the film is nearing the exhaustion phase of its significant theatrical run.
