Assi Day 3 Collection
Assi
Assi is proving to be a true “slow-burn” movie at the box office. After a quiet start on Friday, the film is showing good growth on its first weekend. Today being Sunday, the morning and afternoon shows have seen a nice jump compared to Saturday.
The morning occupancy grew by about 18%, while the afternoon shows saw a much bigger 31% jump. This shows that the positive reviews from critics are finally reaching the urban audience.
Even though the movie is a bit difficult to watch because of its serious theme, people are recommending it for the great acting of Taapsee and Kani Kusruti. In cities like Chennai and Mumbai, the crowds are much better today. For a movie with such a small budget, this steady growth is a very positive sign for its long-term survival in theaters.
